Man charged and remanded following drugs warrant in Ulverston by CSOC

A man has been charged and remanded into custody after an early morning drugs warrant was carried out this morning (24 Oct) at a property in Ulverston. The address was searched and quantity of Class A and Class B drugs were seized, along with cash. Daniel Orsini, aged 34, of Priory Road, Ulverston has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs - cocaine, possession with intent to supply Class B Drugs – Cannabis and possessing criminal property. The warrant and seizure, carried out by Westmorland and Furness’ Community and Serious Organised Crime (CSOC) Unit and assisted by officers from the  South Lakes Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), forms part of Operation Alliance  - our wider ongoing response to protect the county against serious and organised crime. Orsini has been remanded into custody and is due to appear before South Cumbria Magistrates Court on Monday 27 October.
